I have been hand making bears for nine years, since I designed my own bear in 2002 I have become well established in the bear world where my Cookie bear is now well established and easily recognized. Each bear is fully hand sewn using only the finest mohair and ultra suede for the paw pads, I use glass eyes in my larger bears and I use onyx bead eyes in the smaller ones with just the right amount of steel shot to give them that perfect balance and feel. All dressed Cookie bears have handmade clothes individually made by my mother for each bear. All the leather sporrans and suitcases are handmade by my father making Cookie Bears; a truly family business.
